Friends, it has been an exciting couple of weeks. First of all, thanks to all of you who were able to make it to our hometown campaign kick off celebration at the Bauxite Community Center on March 29th (check out the Benton Courier story here). Debbie and I were so happy to be surrounded by our family and hundreds of our closest friends and neighbors.

A special thank you as well to our friends, family, and colleagues who helped us celebrate our wedding anniversary on March 30th at Next Level Events in Little Rock, where hundreds more of you came out to make the day a very special one for both Debbie and I.

April has already seen the campaign traveling all across our great state: Hot Springs, Danville, North Little Rock, Little Rock, Benton, Lewisville, Hope, Fayetteville, Lavaca, Ft. Smith, Ashdown, Forrest City, Brinkley, Conway, Batesville, and Mt. View. In the next couple of days I’ll be traveling to: Jonesboro, Paragould, Walnut Ridge, Pocahontas, Rector, and Blytheville.

All along the way we’ve seen old friends and met new ones. This is just the beginning, however, and I look forward to continuing to travel throughout the state over the next seven months, talking to all of you along the way about how, together, we can continue moving Arkansas forward.
